Manure Treatment Tank for Anaerobic Digestion CSTR/USR
description
The commonly used materials for manure anaerobic tanks (biogas fermentation tanks) include glass-fused-to-steel (GFS) enamel steel plate, carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating, stainless steel, reinforced concrete, FRP/fiberglass, and HDPE geomembrane. The core requirements are resistance to organic acid and hydrogen sulfide corrosion, as well as good sealing and anti-seepage performance.
Characteristics of livestock and poultry manure:
High moisture content and large amount of solid residues, easy to settle and form crust.
Perishable with strong odor, producing harmful gas such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.
Strong corrosivity from organic acid and hydrogen sulfide, requiring anti-corrosion tank materials
The GFS enamel bolted tank is the mainstream preferred option due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical hardness.
Glass fused to steel is a permanent, molecular bond created by fusing a specially formulated silica-based glass enamel to a base sheet of steel at very high temperatures (around 820°C / 1500°F) ,combines the advantages of both materials -- the strength and flexibility of steel and excellent anti-corrosion properties of glass.
Material Characteristics of Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks
-Low Carbon, High Strength, High Titanium.
The steel substrate employed in the construction of glass-fused-to-steel tanks is a special high strength enamelled steel with a unique design and superior properties. Its mechanical properties, including yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation, far exceed those of conventional steel sheets.
